Greg Jones (T. Gregory Jones), son of Ron and Sharon Horton, has been practicing law in his hometown of Salisbury, N.C., since 1995.  After graduating with a degree in business from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he earned his law degree from Regent University School of Law and returned to Rowan County, N.C., joining the law firm of Wallace & Whitley, then transitioning to Whitley, Dooley, Adkins & Jones before joining Shelby, Pethel & Hudson in 2002.

Greg is admitted to practice in North Carolina, South Carolina, and the United States District Court, Middle District of North Carolina. He maintains a trial practice and represents clients in all aspects of criminal defense litigation as well as personal injury and general civil litigation cases. Greg prides himself in protecting the constitutional rights of his clients and truly cares about and enjoys the positive impact he helps provide for his clients.

In addition to being the current North Carolina State Bar Councilor for District 27 (Rowan County) and a member of the North Carolina State Bar Council, Greg is a member of numerous bar and professional legal organizations including the North Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina Advocates for Justice, Rowan County Bar Association, District 27 Bar. Outside of his legal practice, Greg is a member of the Andrew Jackson #576 Masonic Lodge and has volunteered and served on several community boards, including being a current member of the Locke Township Fire Department Board of Directors.

He resides in Rowan County, N.C., with his wife, Kristie Cox Jones, a kindergarten teacher in Rowan County, and their son, TJ Jones, who attends N.C. State University. Greg enjoys traveling, vacations and spending time with his family, relaxing at the lake on the water or at any beach, playing golf, coaching youth sports, and playing with his 2 labs, Bolt and Chesney, but especially loves the various spur-of-the-moment getaways and adventures Kristie, TJ, and he share together.
